Children

Nursery / Toddler Room

While we welcome children at all of our worship services, there are age-appropriate opportunities available for all children.

The Nursery ministries are provided for children ages 3 and younger during all services and many special events held at the church. In our nursery, you will find a quality, Christian, loving and safe environment as our number one priority.

All Nursery servants are screened to work with children. We always have at least two adults in the room with our young people. We require all children to be signed in and signed out of ministries. Children will not be released to an unauthorized person.

We are excited to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate learning space for your infant or toddler. This allows you to worship and widens the circle of influence for you child.

Sunday school

We want all of our children to experience the love of Jesus and learn about our faith. We have exciting, engaging Sunday School classes for children of all ages and stages. Our purpose is to love and nurture them as they grow in their faith. We provide a fun learning environment that will help them remember their Sunday School days.

Children’s Church

During our Sunday morning worship services, we invite all of the children forward for a children's moment. Following this moment, children are invited to attend Children’s Church, which is upstairs in the Youth Area. We have at least two adults on hand to guide them through a fun, engaging, age-appropriate lesson about our faith. Children are welcomed and encouraged to stay for Sunday School which is in the same space. Parents will need to go up and retrieve their children, either after Worship or after Sunday School.

Safe Sanctuaries Child Protection Policy

Our number one priority is the safety of our children and the adults who work with them. We have adopted a Safe Sanctuaries policy that outlines our procedures for screening volunteers and workers, setting standards, providing training, assuring compliance, and responding to emergencies. This policy includes:

  • Requiring at least two adults in any room where children are present.

  • Mandating a national background screening for all adult volunteers.

  • Assuring that all parents of children 5th grade and under sign their children in and out of activities.

Thanks for your help in protecting our children and adults.
